My Golden Birthday

 On Sunday February 21st, I turned 21!
 In this post I will take you along through my 21st Birthday Celebrations..in Rhode Island. We have more celebrating to do in DC this weekend, and NY next week!

The first moment that kicked off my birthday weekend was recieving an adorable package from my twin brother. I can never talk about my birthday without mentioning the person who I share it with! We always ask each other what we want, and we always pick things that are affordable being that we are in college. This year I told him candy since I am candy crazy. He sent me this amazing candy pack!

 This box has all my favorite candy in it, and is half gone now that the weekend is over! I love my brother and wish I could spend every birthday with him, but he still makes it special all the way from Bing! 

 I started my Saturday night with this gorgeous sky. I like to think it was a gift from all my angels!

I got to spend the night with some of my favorite people. I did not get a picture with everybody that came but I appreciate and love each of them! These five girls mean the world to me, and I can say that I have been blessed to have them in my life. They make not only my birthday but everyday so incredible.

Nothing could prepare me for what was to come the day of my actual birthday! 

The first stop was this amazing Creperie that a group of us went to for brunch! I had a nutella crepe but can't wait to go back for a savory breakfast crepe!

I was then surprised with these My Girl sunglasses that you probably saw on my wishlist! My boyfriend read my blog and got them for me. I can't express how appreciative I am of him and this sweet gesture! He wasn't the only one reading my blog...

  

Since my mom and dad are super busy with the move, my boyfriends mom dad and sister surprised me! I'm so thankful that they came to RI on a Sunday to celebrate my birthday with me! Pj and his roommate Kai definitely got me.

Alicia got my the new KaePop Liquid Lipstick in Chi & the matching lip liner in Chi! She also got me the eyeshadow set! I had all these products sitting in my Colourpop shopping cart waiting for me to purchase them. She read my mind!

Pj's Mom and Dad got me the five drawer muji acrylic organizer that was on my wish list as well! I genuinely posted my wishlist as something fun to do, to share with everybody. It is always fun for me to see what other people are interested in and I thought somebody else might find it interesting. Little did I know they were all reading it. The surprises didn't stop there..

They also got me the Milkyway Phone Case that I had my eye on! I honestly could not believe it when I was opening these amazing gifts. I feel so loved and so lucky to have them as my family.

After exploring all day we had a great dinner at PF Changs! 

Here are a few of the adorable gifts I received from my friends, that I love! Not included in this post are the wonderful bottles of Wine I received as well as an adorable picture frame with martini glass! I haven't had the time to put a photo in it so it has the awkward default photo in it! Ill post a photo once I print some pictures!

Thank you to everybody who celebrated my birthday with me, or even took the time to send me a birthday wish! I am grateful for you all!

21st Birthday Wish List

On February 21st, it is my 21st Birthday! I found out this summer all about your "Golden Birthday" and what a great year to have mine! I thought it would be fun to list 21 things I would love to receive for my 21st Birthday. I don't expect any gifts this year as I am older and really would just love to be surrounded by my favorite people. 

This is just something fun to do, and I think it would be fun to see what is on my personal wish list!

Number One:

I just saw this online last night and immediately it shot to the top of my wish list. 

How adorable is this Ulta Exclusive Too Faced PB&J Pallet. It comes out this month and smells like chocolate and peanut butter. I love the packaging and I love PB&J sandwiches! Although I don't need more eyeshadows, these colors are definitely ones I will use on a daily basis. Purple is what I go to when I want a pop of color!

Number Two: 

The next item on my wish list is a book. Many of you don't know this but I come from a family of book lovers! 

Fun Fact: While cleaning out our house preparing for our big move, we donated hundreds of books. (I would not be surprised if we donated 1,000 books) But we did not count them as we sent them off to their new homes. 

I don't know where or when I saw this book but I believe it was on YouTube in somebody else's book collection. This is the first book in Sue Grafton's Alphabet Series which spans from A to X at the moment. It is a series of mysteries that I would love to start reading.  I don't know much about the series or the author. Her most recent book was Sue Grafton "X" released in August 2015.

Number 3:

The third item on my wishlist is a new phone case. I have had the same phone case since I got my iPhone 6 last year. It still does the job but its peeling and that is starting to bother me. I do have a Lifeproof case but that can get bulky. 

These phone cases are from MILKYWAY Cases and are adorable. I follow them on Instagram and love that they are constantly updating their designs. These are both $11.99 and absolutely adorable.

These Quay Australia Sunnies are to die for! How fabulous do these models look wearing them? The first style is called Muse and the second style is My Girl. I would love to start a collection of nice quality sunglasses. (My sister bought me adorable Tory Burch sunnies before I left for Tanzania last summer, and I LOVE them!)

I am sure you have all heard about Love Your Melon which is a wonderful company giving back to children with cancer. When you purchase one of the adorable hats, a child with cancer also receives one. LYM Groups dress up as super heroes and deliver the hats to hospitals all over. How wonderful is that?! My roommate/bestie is part of the JWU LYM Crew! Although the new LYM Pom Beanie is on my wish list this is something I will definitely purchase once they restock! I urge everybody reading this to make a purchase as well! There are so many options and even if you can't find one you like personally, pass it on as a gift. Every purchase matters.

Number 6:

MUJI Five Drawer Acrylic Tower

Although on my ultimate wish list a CosmoCube certainly has a spot, they are a pretty penny. A cool alternative is the Muji Acrylic cases. The five drawer set is only $27.95, where as the CosmoCube can get up to $275. My makeup collection is not the biggest so most of my products would fit on two of the five drawer stacks. 

Number 7:

PINK!

The last item on my personal wish list are these three beachy items from VS PINK. Being that I will be living in a beach town in our new house I thought I should stock up on some beach items! The gold sandals are too cute, and would match the gold pineapple tank also shown! The towel is like no other beach towel I have ever seen! How gorgeous! 

What really matters...

Although these are all material items on my wish list the ONLY thing I need/want for my 21st Birthday are my loved ones around me. I have been blessed with the best family and friends a girl could ask for!
